Coronado’s Real Estate Community Is Excited to Participate in Holiday House!
CORONADO, CALIFORNIA: November 13, 2011 – Gerri-Lynn Fives, 2010
President of the Coronado Real Estate Association and a REALTOR® with
Prudential California Realty in Coronado is excited to volunteer in
SDAR’s Holiday House!
The Coronado real estate community is pleased to inaugurate a holiday
effort to help San Diego’s children, military, homeless, and senior
citizens. Gerri-Lynn Fives, 2010 President of the Coronado Real Estate
Association (CREA), and a REALTOR® with Prudential California Realty in
Coronado was excited to volunteer Prudential California Realty in
Coronado to assist the San Diego Association of REALTORS® (SDAR) with
their inaugural “Holiday House.”
Gerri-Lynn Fives reports that donations will be accepted at all three
of Prudential’s offices in Coronado; 101 Orange Avenue, 955 Orange
Avenue and 511 Grand Caribe. “Blue Bins” are located in the lobby of
each of the offices. The Coronado Real Estate Association, located on
the second floor of the Chase Manhattan Bank in Coronado is also
accepting donations. Donations will be collected from November 1
through December 8 to help fill the “Holiday House” with items to be
donated to local charities.
“The Donovan’s family of restaurants is proud to sponsor the Holiday
House and partner with SDAR to continue our support of the community and
local charities,” said Dan Shea, Owner of Donovan’s Steak & Chop
House. “The YWCA of San Diego County is thrilled to participate in the
Holiday House,” said Carol Ann Chambers, Development Manager of the
YWCA, which operates Becky’s House. “In order to brighten up the
holiday season, each year we provide gifts, toys, and gift cards to all
of our families. This would not be possible without the support of the
community, including organizations such as the San Diego Association of
REALTORS®,” Chambers said.
Charities benefiting from the Holiday House include:
Adopt-A-Classroom, Becky’s House, Homefront San Diego, It’s All About
the Kids, Marine Toys for Tots, The Salvation Army, San Diego Armed
Services YMCA, San Diego Center for Children, San Diego Food Bank,
Second Chance, and Senior Community Centers. An abbreviated list of
items to donate includes: Clothes for children and adults, baby supplies
and diapers, car seats, toys and games for kids, school supplies,
books, videos, DVD’s, educational and art supplies, non-perishable
packaged and canned food, gift cards from major retailers and grocery
stores, gas cards from major gas companies, amusement park passes, movie
and sport passes, sports equipment, appliances, furniture, computers
and laptops, kitchen utensils, personal hygiene products, tools, linens,

Tuesday, December 6, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday House in La
